JOAN OF ARC, PROPHECY AND THE
GOD OF THE BIBLE
This CD
was composed for the Sound and Light show performed in the Saint Joan of Arc
Basilica in Domremy, France for the Joan of Arc Festival of May 2007. It
is a combination of mostly original instrumental music, and text. The text
comes complete with sound effects. The music follows Joan's story, as
displayed through the large murals found in the Basilica. It is a mixture
of many styles including: contemporary instrumental/new
age/classical/electronic/space/ and ambient.
As this presentation was designed for a French audience, the text is entirely in French. However, this CD comes with the complete transcripts in both French and English, so for those who do not speak French, they can follow along with complete understanding of what is being said. The French reviews for this show were uniformly enthusiastic.
Instrumentation: Kurzweil 25OO, Ensoniq TS-10, Korg O1-W, 2 ADAT 8 Track Digital Recorders, Spirit Soundboard, Electra electric guitar, Alesis Quadraverb effects unit, and various other sound producers.
